Time to go to work.

OK folks. The voters did their job yesterday, the commentators did their job last night, the government will do its job today. Whether your guy won or your lady lost, as Christians we have a job to do for the foreseeable future: We have to show the nation how the Kingdom of God lives together harmoniously and helps those outside the Kingdom do likewise, even in the midst of conflict and disagreement. Remember, our King won his title on a cross two thousand years ago and every day since then the Kingdom of God has been our home. In that home things like love, grace, peace, and mercy are our bread and butter. Now go out into this torn world and be the citizens of that Kingdom that I know you are. Pray hard, love hard, speak words of kindness and mercy, and most of all bring the peace that passes all understanding which keeps your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus to the corner of the country you live in. It is our time to do our job.
